Liposuction preparation

When preparing to have liposuction you first need to select a doctor. Do not rely on advertisements when making your selection. Most advertisements are meant to sell a service and will not give you the vital information that you need. Call several doctors and ask lots of questions. A good professional doctor will make sure to answer all your questions in great detail and make sure you are 100% comfortable with the liposuction procedure. Do not feel embarrassed to ask questions and don't feel pressured to commit to the first doctor you speak with.

You will need to have a full body check up before you have a procedure done. Make sure to inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking. Age is generally not a major issue although diminished skin elasticity may affect the results of liposuction.

Liposuction aftercare

Tumescent liposuction The same liquid mixture as Fluid injection Liposuction will be inserted into the fatty areas due to be removed. However with this procedure three times the amount of fluid will be used. The fatty tissue will be swollen and firm because of the extra fluid used.
Ultrasonic assisted liposuction (UAL) A special cannula that will produce ultrasonic waves will be inserted.
