Imiquimod (aldara) It is not intent to kill your wart. Instead, it boosts your immune system’s ability to fight wart. However, it might irritate your partner skin and diminish the function of condom and diaphragms.
Podofilox - This brown color cream can kill wart tissue on skin. However, it will also irritate surrounding skin. You feel like your skin is burning. It is better to have you doctor teach you how to apply it. Leave the cream on your skin and wash it off around 4 - 6 hours later. This product cannot apply internally, hence it can’t treat oral and vaginal wart. It is also useful to prevent wart to reappear after removal

Liquid Nitrogen - also called crytherapy. A doctor applies liquid nitrogen on your skin to freeze them off. New skin will born after wart die. You should use it as the first option since cryoprobe has a high success rate with relatively less side effect. This treatment might be needed every 1 to 3 weeks for a total of 2 to 4 times.

TCA(trichloroactic acid) Unlike Liquid nitrogen, your skin feels like burning as this clear and watery liquid dry off. The wart will turn whitish color, shrink and disappear. You need to have TCA applied on your wart weekly for a few weeks to remove the wart. It carries greater risk and must be applied by a doctor.

Electrocautery. You doctor apply electric current on you skin to burn off the wart.

Laser treatment - This is the most effective treatment for wart. However, it only used for very extensive and tough to treat warts because of its high cost. Side effect included extra healing time, infection and scarring. It could be done with local anesthesia but a general anesthesia is recommended.

Do not use over-the-counter medication. They are not indented to use on sensitive genital area. Not only wart will remain, you will also experience pain and irrational.

Take extra care to the area with wart. Try to prevent trauma to it because it might cause bleeding. Do not touch or squeeze the wart. If you pop the wart, infection might occur.
