Menopause symptoms are obvious situations faced by middle aged women. Menopause is the stoppage of the menstruation process. It is a natural process, as the part of ageing. Hot flashes are the sudden occurrence of a wave of heat in body, which outbreaks with many associated symptoms such as night sweating, palpitations, chills and perspiration. How menopause affect a woman psychologically

Menopause symptoms also characterize the psychological symptoms such as mood swings, anxiety, depression, irritability, and decreased libido. The memory loss is the most common symptom of menopause, irrespective of the difference in races. The estrogen is a balancing factor for the skeletal system and menopause results thinning of bone, muscle pain, joint pain, thinning of nail and osteoporosis. The skin of the females are also affected by menopause and symptoms such as decreased elasticity, loss of natural luster, skin thinning, and breast atrophy will occur.

Urogenital organs will be most affected by menopause and the symptoms will start with irregular periods, and vaginal bleeding. Menopause genital symptoms include itching in the genitals, vaginal dryness, and pain while sexual activities. The urinary associated menopause symptoms include urinary incontinence, leakage, urinary urgency and change in urinary frequency.

The increase in the cholesterol and associated risk for cardiovascular disease are also caused because of the menopause.

In general, menopause symptoms cause a feeling of total discomfort including fatigue, dizziness, head ache, concentration problems, gum problems, pain in extremities, rapid heart beat, hair loss, weight gain and some times change in body and breathe odor.
